Athletics, Movement & Wellness
Athletics • Wellness • Discipline • Confidence
“Intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong.” — John F. Kennedy
Strong Minds Thrive in Strong Bodies.
At USA Gifted JIVY League Academy, we believe physical development is an essential part of whole-child education. Movement supports not only strength and coordination, but also focus, discipline, confidence, resilience, teamwork, and lifelong healthy habits.
Our programs and partner activities include:
Swimming • Table Tennis • Martial Arts • Dance • Fitness • Team Sports • Coordination • Outdoor Activities • Mindfulness • Wellness Education
Our goal is not simply to help children become more active. We want them to understand how to challenge themselves, work with others, care for their bodies, manage setbacks, and develop the discipline to keep improving.

THE JIVY MOVE METHOD
DISCOVER → MOVE → PRACTICE → CHALLENGE → REFLECT → IMPROVE → THRIVE
DISCOVER — Explore interests and abilities.
MOVE — Develop physical foundations.
PRACTICE — Build skills through purposeful repetition.
CHALLENGE — Stretch beyond the comfort zone.
REFLECT — Learn from successes and setbacks.
IMPROVE — Set new goals and measure progress.
THRIVE — Build habits for lifelong physical and personal well-being.
The Results We Seek
Students who are:
Strong enough to TRY.
Disciplined enough to PRACTICE.
Resilient enough to TRY AGAIN.
Confident enough to COMPETE.
Humble enough to LEARN.
Compassionate enough to SUPPORT OTHERS.
Motivated enough to KEEP GROWING.
At JIVY, movement is not separate from education.
It is part of educating the whole child.
USA GIFTED JIVY LEAGUE ACADEMY
Strong Foundations. Limitless Possibilities.

Personalized Movement & Wellness Profile
Just as JIVY personalizes academics, students can have age-appropriate goals based on interests, current abilities, confidence, and readiness.
DISCOVER → SET GOALS → PRACTICE → MEASURE PROGRESS → ADVANCEMind–Body–Academic Connection
Make explicit that MOVE supports the whole-child philosophy:
Movement → Focus → Self-Regulation → Confidence → Readiness to Learn
This connects athletics directly to the JIVY educational model.Goal Setting & Progress Tracking
Students should learn to set measurable personal goals—not simply participate. Examples could include improving endurance, mastering a swimming skill, developing table-tennis technique, increasing coordination, or demonstrating stronger teamwork.Sportsmanship & Character Development
I would make this a more prominent part of the curriculum:
Respect • Integrity • Fair Play • Responsibility • Humility • Perseverance • Leadership
This creates a natural bridge from III. MOVE into IV. LEAD.Healthy Habits for Life
Expand Wellness Education slightly to include age-appropriate understanding of physical activity, hydration, nutrition awareness, rest/recovery, mindfulness, stress management, healthy routines, and responsible self-care.
At JIVY, the goal is not to make every child an athlete. It is to help every child discover movement they enjoy, develop confidence in their body, build discipline and resilience, and establish healthy habits that can last a lifetime.
More Than Sports. Whole-Child Development.
JIVY MOVE connects physical literacy + personal goals + character + teamwork + wellness + lifelong habits. Students are encouraged to compete with confidence, cooperate with others, learn from setbacks, and understand that taking care of the body is part of developing the mind.
